This year we are going to participate in local parades. Our first parade was on Saturday, March 12th. Our hometown, Le Center, had their 40th St. Patrick’s Day Celebration! We showed off our RP180 and tossed out can koozies and a lot of candy! The weather was nice – remember, we are in Minnesota, 25 degrees and sunny is wonderful.

A big thank you to the city of Le Center and
to our crew for making it a memorable time!
I am getting excited for our upcoming parades in July!! There will be a BIG surprise showing up!
Our Sales team traveled down to San Antonio to attend Spray Foam World Wide, the Spray Foam Expo, and the EGSA Spring Conference. This was a great opportunity to showcase our generators, as well as have communication on how WINCO can improve and create generators dedicated to the spray foam industry.
Spray Foam World Wide
WINCO teamed up with Spray Foam World Wide (SFWW) this year and donated a DE30. SFWW gave away a fully equipped spray foam rig, powered by a WINCO DE30. Our DE30 has a new design with a standard rocker manual panel along with the trusted FPT 3.4L engine, coupled to an industrial Cummins gen end.
We had our own give away drawing for a DE50.
Congratulations to Mid Michigan Spray Foam for winning the DE50!
SPRAY FOAM EXPO
The SprayFoam Expo had a record turn-out this year!
Our team was was busy showing off our new gasoline unit and the new DE designs. It was a great opportunity to meet our dealers and end users. This gave us a chance to hear what types of options the industry is looking for.
EGSA SPRING CONFERENCE
We sent Shane and Tyler to Las Vegas to participate in the EGSA Spring Conference. The two-day conference included classes and training on strategies and applications with special keynote speaker, Terry Bradshaw. They were able to meet up with a few of our dealers as well as go golfing with the group. Shane and Tyler were partnered up with Jim and Will from FM generators.
UP NEXT
The re-scheduled PowerGen will be May 23-25, 2022.
We are excited to show off at our largest booth yet!
Meet our newly design RP units and some of our favorite
The air-cooled test bay has been an important piece of equipment for many years. All of our portables and small air-cooled standby generators pass through for their 100% load tests. After many years and thousands of units, it was time to update.
THE OLD
The previous load banks have been with the company since the 70’s. They would tell us amperage, single phase readouts, and hertz.
As the Big-Dogs have gotten larger we needed more testing capacity and the load banks hung too low. This reduced efficiency since some units had to be tested in the liquid-cooled test bay.
FIRST THINGS FIRST – DEMOLITION
We removed everything that was no longer needed, the load banks, the old venting, and sound-proofing.
THE SEA OF RED
During construction, we had to move testing to our old liquid-cooled test bay. Normally the units would be on the conveyor rollers and pushed through the test bay. We had sea of HPS units waiting for their turn to be tested.
THE NEW
The new load bank has a home outside. Don’t worry, it will get used to the Minnesota winters.
The new system allows us to test single and three phase units. We have also added a second station to accommodate our second air-cooled assembly line we will be adding later this year.

We have more exciting changes and updates happening! Stay tuned!!
Our next Service School will be June 1st – 2nd, 2022 We promise the weather will be warmer than it was during our January Service School!
Our Service experts have been working hard to create the best techniques to keep you current on how to service our generators. • More hands-on training • We focus on current and past models • Take a tour and meet our staff • Air-Cooled models
We had a great turn out for our January Service School. Thank you to all that were able to attend!
Classroom
Our service team and engineers discuss the ins and outs of engines, generator ends, engine controls, and transfer switches.
We were grateful that legend-that-is JR, was able to share his wisdom. We tapped into his many years of experience to bring knowledge of the older models. Since we still have older models working hard, it is important to train how to keep them at top notch for use for many years.
