I have a 45-25PT3J, Ser. # CC-871-107 and we recently had a power outage that required me to run the generator. When I did it did not produce any output. When I troubleshot the generator I noticed that when I removed the panel cover and engaged the pto the armature shaft was not turning at all, even at high rpm’s. Do you have any suggestions as to what the problem could be? Also, are there any companies in the Alexandria, La. area who could help me get it back up and running? My family has used this generator for many years, and we appreciate the quality of your product very much. Thanks for your help on this for me!
Hi Rick. It sounds like there is an issue in the gear case causing the armature not to spin. You can use our locator to find your closest Winco Service Dealer. Click on “Find an Expert” under the Service & Support tab of our website. Otherwise you can call our Service Department @ 507-357-6831.
Hello Thomas, The brush spring is part number G3422. The brush holder bracket part number is B61721. You can order these parts from our service department by calling 507-357-6831.
Jamie, I’m not sure what that bearing crosses to, however we have it in stock under a Winco 64562-000. Please call our parts department @ 507-357-8332 if you wish to order it.
