Generator starts manually however when I try to start it by selecting Run on the ATS I get noting. This is a current problem as the system has been working until recently. What could cause that?
My customer had a similar problem on March 22, 2018. The gen set would not switch on from the transfer panel. Both the start stop relay (SSR) and the select switch (start/disable/automatic) on the transfer panel were intermittent.
my units ser no 1729098. When I had the unit installed the electrification informed me he could wire it up for auto. stand by service. I had always been able to start it from the garage and place it on line.A couple of years ago I could not start it remotely (garage) I had to go out side and start it from inside the panel . I contacted a company down in Jasper Ga. PSU and they sent a tech. a sharp kid, he stated that there was a problem in the Control assy not allowing me to start it remotely (garage ) so what ever the problem is, its in the engine control assy. he was in a hurry and I didn’t write what he said and he left. my question is: are there any parts still available through you ??? But we need this thing to be either automatic or at least be able to start it from the garage, HELP
Hi John, Yes parts are still available for that model transfer switch. It could be a defective toggle switch on the transfer switch that is keeping it from operating remotely. You can call our Service Department @ 507-357-6831 and we will gladly troubleshoot the issue with you.
My ats 110/60 serial # 4490 F00 needs to be replaced due to multiple issues. Tech says parts would cost more than replacement. Where can I get a replacement unit?
Dave, you can email me and I’ll provide you a quote for a replacement transfer switch, [email protected]. Otherwise you can use our Dealer Locator and work with a local Winco Dealer for that product.
Rich, please contact our Technical Support Department @ 507-357-8334 or [email protected]. The line side contactor 64585-006 is still available. That is the contactor that is humming. Parts Department: 507-357-8332.

Steve, it could be as simple as a bad toggle switch on the transfer switch. Please call our Service Department @ 507-357-6831 for further guidance.

This Transfer switch is DOA. It will not transfer during an outage. I will not toggle to run or exercise
